A hackathon is where you turn your crazy ideas into real stuff. Hundreds of ideators from all over, gather and build something they’re passionate about. You take care of building. We’ll take care of you.
A Hack is clever or ingenious way of accomplishing something, often but not necessaily with th use of technology. At HackthePad we welcome all hacks and encourage technical and non technical people all the same.
Anyone who can hack, see previous question for what defines a hack (no it is not malicously gaining access to data or computer)
HackthePad applications are open to anyone who wants to build something that helps women and makes life easier for all.
Keep on the lookout you may find a coding partner when here, or they maybe looking for you. If you dont, do not worry, HackthePad is where you come to learn, ideate and brainstorm soultions to problems. There'll be workshops and mentors to help you throughout.
Not a problem! We’ve been working on some great ideation and team-forming activities to help you.
All you need is a valid ID and a laptop.
Anything that makes its easier for women to move forward in life and close the gender parity gap.
